Sometimes a squirrel is just not enough

Last Saturday I was at Tate Britain and among the many paintings one caught my attention. Not particularly because it was exceptional but rather it was a portrait of a lady holding a squirrel. now you would think once you have added a random squirrel to the portrait you have set about painting, there is nowhere really left to go, but apparently not, apparently if you truly wish to cross the t’s and dot the i’s on your painting of woman with random squirrel a starling is the acknowledged way to go!
