Plastic Apocalypse

Sustainability and the visual narrative have been a consistent theme in my exhibition work over the years, that and apparently I like to visually destroy London, mostly because it has such iconic skylines. This piece is a twist on the theme of the dangers of petroleum as used in everyday products, those that you eventually find broken or battered on a rubbish heaps or in gullies at the side of the road. A single abandoned doll always seems so sad, but millions and millions of lost or abandoned non-biodegradable plastic dolls making their way to the council tips over the years add up to an environmental nightmare.
